The purpose of this memo is to explain the rhetoric that a Corvette manual uses to cater to a specific car owner and a public audience.
Summary
Corvette manuals, like other manuals, have a very specific rhetoric which is easily readable by a general audience. Car manuals are generally utilized by car owners who have issues with the car, so the car manual will attempt to be as easily readable as possible.
How Corvette Manuals Cater to a Specific Audience
Within this corvette manual there is a specific and detailed table of contents which give a general outline of the manual. This is because the audience is often owners of Corvettes that have broken down, thus the manual must be detailed and organized for an easy read. In addition, the manual features minimal jargon, as the audience is likely not informed car owners, but rather casual drivers.
