In Professor Raymond J. Wegmann's scientific article "Cellular and Molecular Biology," (January 6th, 2016) he defines the field of Molecular and Cellular Biology, giving definitional information into the field and the possibilities one has as a Biologist. He also outlines his own work into the field and how he has delved further into the field. To conclude, he outlines a number of different studies being conducted at the moment that are furthering the field. He seems to have a scientifically literate audience in mind as he uses jargon that is specific to the scientific field.

In Lena Voith's article, "Gene Regulation," (November 3rd, 2016), she discusses the new research into gene regulation and gene alteration. Gene splicing is an upcoming field within Biology, and the amount of research being conducted into it is immense. In order to explain these new studies, she cites several researchers around the world that are working into this issue. To conclude, she quotes one of the researchers, who states that the new research has incredible possibilities, anything could happen. She seems to have a scientifically literate audience in mind who are interested in these new studies.
